Triratna South East Buddhist Group was formed in April 2020 as an amalgamation of the three Triratna groups that were previously meeting  in Eastbourne, Hastings and Tunbridge Wells.  When the Covid Pandemic lockdown prevented us from meeting in person the three groups decided join together and take all our meetings online using the Zoom video conferencing platform.

At the time we had no idea just how successful this would turn out to be. With our meetings unconstrained by geographic location our sangha nights are attended by people from all over Kent and Sussex and as far afield as the West Country and Poland.

With the easing of Covid restrictions in September 2021 we again started meeting in person at our three locations in Tunbridge Wells, Hastings and Eastbourne However, on the first Wednesday of each month we all meet together online.

Everyone over 18 is welcome to join our weekly meeting regardless of any previous knowledge of Buddhism or meditaion, indeed, you don't even need to think of yourself as a Buddhist to come along
